Research Hapa: A Tool for Efficient and Effective Intervention
Background Information:
Governments, NGOs, and funders endeavor tirelessly to reach entire communities, sometimes providing interventions that may not address the specific needs of a community or transferring interventions from one community to another without considering differing issues. This lack of response from communities to well-intentioned initiatives often stems from a failure to conduct a needs assessment tailored to each community.
To address these challenges, we have developed Research Hapa, a tool designed to aid interventions by conducting thorough needs assessments for specific communities, thus ensuring appropriate and effective interventions.
Research Hapa collaborates with governments, NGOs, donors, and funders to conduct baseline surveys, both desktop-based and through fieldwork, encompassing qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. This ensures that interventions implemented in society align precisely with the identified needs of the community.
